New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Names Jeremy Tipton as Senior Event Manager

Jeremy Tipton has been named Senior Event Manager at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO) – the sixth largest convention center in the nation. In his new role, Tipton is responsible for assisting in the arrangement, coordination and supervision of events at the MCCNO to ensure maximum client satisfaction and promote repeat business.
Tipton comes to New Orleans from Phoenix, AZ where he most recently was an event manager for the Phoenix Convention Center and Venues for three years. Previously, he spent three years working as an event manager for The Palm Springs Convention Center.
Prior to working in the convention center industry, Tipton worked in the entertainment industry assisting in the production of high profile television programs as well as films. These experiences include being an Audience Coordinator for the Ellen DeGeneres show for two years. He has been versatile serving in positions ranging from a counselor and then a trainer for US Space Camp to a promotions assistant for an FM radio station in Columbus, OH.
Tipton attended The Ohio State University and is originally from Ohio. He maintains active membership in International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
