Rose Lehn Joins Staff as Food and Beverage Strategist /Facility F & B Liaison

Rose Lehn has been named Food and Beverage Strategist/Facility F & B Liaison of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center – the sixth largest convention center in the nation. Lehn’s duty will be one of a liaison between the facility and ARAMARK, the Center’s exclusive food service provider. She will be creating a new partnership which will enhance F & B Operations by developing an overall food and beverage strategy, evaluating day to day operations, crafting a new capital program and ensuring contract compliance. In her new role, she will be working with the various MCCNO service-related departments and ARAMARK to ensure a team-driven approach that will ensure that clients’ and attendees’ experience exceeds expectations.
Lehn is originally from Cincinnati and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Restaurant Management. Lehn has a great range of working experience in the food service field including 12 years for Sportservice Corporation in many different venues, such as convention centers, horse and dog tracks, baseball parks, zoos, parks and beaches. Presidential Inaugural balls, World Series games, and among other high profile events are in her portfolio.
For 10 years she was the Food & Beverage Manager over retail outlets at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex.
Bryan Hayden, vice president of operations for the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center said, “Rose promises a new set of eyes, fresh ideas and dedication to this endeavor. She will bring an operational sense to this new role which will position the MCCNO in becoming the best convention center of our size.”
