Kenneth Mimms Promoted to Building Trades Manager at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center

Kenneth Mimms has been promoted to the position of Building Trades Manager for the Operations Department of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center – the sixth largest convention center in the nation. In his new position he will assure quality and excellence from vendors and deliver a fully functioning building to clients of the convention center.
Mimms began his career at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in 2003 as a carpenter. In 2006 he was promoted to the position of Maintenance Coordinator, and he completed numerous projects for the center.
Previously, Mimms worked for Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin as Aerospace Mechanic for ten years. Mimms also held the position of Field Engineer for Cox Cable.
