Gina Ellis Named Assistant Technical Sales Manager at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center

Gina Ellis has been named Assistant Technical Sales Manager for the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center – the sixth largest convention center in the nation. In her new position she will focus her efforts on selling the technical features of the facility. The Center is making technological upgrades including new flat-panel digital information systems, and internet work and charging stations. Further technological upgrades in 2009 will include the establishment of a 10-GIG internet backbone, two executive cyber lounges and installation of card-key access systems to all 140 meeting rooms.
Ellis started her career at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in 2004 and was later promoted to the position of sales manager. As sales manager she generated new business and also provided service to existing accounts in the Washington DC area.
Her previous professional experience included overseeing personal affairs and communications for the Louisiana Air National Guard.
