It was a sunny April afternoon that members of the Louisiana National Guard’s 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) last gathered on the familiar steps of the New Orleans Ernest N. The Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority, the governing board of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, recently voted to extend its contract with Centerplate for hospitality services for the Convention Center.
Centerplate took over the food service operation in July of 2011 for an initial seven years, but a unique aspect of the contract is its “evergreen” element. Every year that Centerplate meets established performance thresholds, another year is added to the end of the contract.

National Customer Advisory Council Tours Great Hall Construction at MCCNO
Members of the New Orleans National Customer Advisory Council were escorted on a hard-hat tour of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center’s Great Hall construction project.
