Production Services- Production Systems Technician
Salary: $21.15-$23.80/Hour

General Description:
The Systems Technician – is primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical installations and audio, lighting, and rigging systems of the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. This individual is responsible for monitoring, repairing and installing electrical and computerized audio, lighting, and rigging equipment according to established industry guidelines, local and national codes.

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and a minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training in electronics or
robotics; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with the repair of delicate electronics required. Supervisory experience desired. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to provide detailed documentation related to device and system modifications in order to correct functional deviations and familiarity of network and audio and lighting systems required. Knowledge of LAN network including fiber optics a plus. The individual must be able to install, repair and/or maintain audio, video, projection systems and programmable logic controls as well as be able to setup, calibrate and troubleshoot theatrical sound and lighting equipment and evaluate performance of parts assemblies or systems under simulated operating conditions. Must be able to perform job duties under minimal supervision ,work extended/ irregular hours as necessary including nights, weekends and holidays as building operations require.

 

 

Technology Services- Supervisor
Salary: Commensurate with Experience

General Description:
The Technology Supervisor, under the direction of the Technology Manager and Assistant Technology Manager, is responsible for overseeing all day to day work of Technology Services personnel and supervises and assists with the set-up, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all network-related services and equipment within the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred and two to four years’ experience in a networking position; Minimum of two years’
experience in a supervisory level position desired. N+ Certifications and experience in WiFi preferred.

 

 

Electrical- Electrician III
Salary: $24.88/Hour
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

General Description:
The Electrician III is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all electrical installations and systems of the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Technical school background or apprenticeship program
preferred. Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Class D City of New Orleans Electrical License required.

General Description:
The Market Research Manager is responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports and making recommendations based on research findings that lead to informed business decisions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or hotel and restaurant management from a four-year college or university; and four to six years related experience and/or training in revenue management, sales, marketing or related professional area preferred. Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory/management position required.

General Description:

Refrigeration/ Kitchen Mechanic III
Salary: $25.13/ Hour

General Description:
The Refrigeration/Kitchen Mechanic III is responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on
all Refrigeration and kitchen equipment as well as assist with HVAC equipment maintenance throughout the New
Orleans Morial Convention Center.

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Technical school background in related field preferred. Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Type Universal Card required.
